Loutraki, Heraion & Heraion (Vouliagmeni) Lake

Loutraki is located in the entrance of Mythical Peloponnese, only 80km away from the capital city of Greece, Athens. Loutraki is renowned for its thermal springs, famous since Antiquity, when the city was called Thermai, in honor of Thermia Artemis. The region is also visited for its Casino and appreciated for its natural mineral waters.

At a short distance from Loutraki, you will encounter the cape of Heraion of Perachora also known as Melagavi. The cape stands alongside of the largest lighthouse of the Corinthian Bay. Important relics of the early Corinthian Civilization have been discovered in the area. The sanctuary of goddess Hera, located at the depth of the harbour, near the rocks on which the current lighthouse is built, was of great importance in its time.

In the region of Vouliagmeni, next to the Heraion, embraced by a natural pine-forest, lies one of the most beautiful lagoons in Greece, the Heraion (Vouliagmeni) Lake. The whole landscape is simply awesome, a glimpse around just takes your breath away. Discover the grace of the ancient fairy, the peaceful Lake. Nafplio

Greece’s first capital has been built in a cove in the Argolic Gulf. Nafplio is one of Greece’s most beautiful towns, a favorite destination for a short distance weekend getaway. Nafplio is enveloped in a romantic atmosphere that you will feel as you get acquainted with the town’s history.

Chalkida

Chalkida, the capital town of Evia, is also called the “weekend island”! It could very well be seen as a suburb in the outskirts of Athens as a 45 minute drive – past the impressive High Bridge – will get you there. Have a coffee break by the seafront – a favorite place among the young – and enjoy the view of Evripos straits.

Saronic Islands

The Saronic islands of Aegina, Poros, Hydra, Spetses and Methana are the most popular sailing destinations, along with the east coast of the Peloponnese and the nearest cycladic islands of Kea (Tzia) and Kythnos. In the Argosaronic gulf and along the east coast of the Peloponnese you can make use of superb sailing and well-organised port facilities in the historical cities of Nafplion and Tolo as well as marinas in Porto Heli, Astros and Leonidio.
